Dear Mr. Postmaster General: As a metalhead and concerned citizen, I would like to give you a heads up about the new record from a band called Apiary. I understand they are from San Jose, California. They play a brand of music called metalcore, which is kind of a blend of heavy metal and hardcore, neither of which is really happy. These guys are a little more hardcore than metal too with brutal time changes and some crazy guitar riffing like Dillinger Escape Plan (don't worry about who they are).

The reason why I am writing is to tell you that you should not let any of your employees buy their new CD Lost In Focus.   I'm afraid to say that this record is probably going to be the soundtrack for your next pissed off employee. This record is going to hit your employees like a sledgehammer and depress the shit out of those that don't have appropriate coping skills (or appropriate prescription medication). For example on "Forced To Breathe", Apiary sing (or yell), "Chosen to be everything I loathe/my demise is overbearing/blaming myself/draining the well". Or, on "Solidified Foundation" they yell "you followed me willingly over bridges I have burnt/ just to see you drown in the pain/I have bled/your misery is the sweetest victory". By the time they get top the last song "Finding A Way Back" (which is my favorite on the record), who knows how deeply depressed they will be. Get the point yet?

I have taken the bludgeoning from this record and have survived, since I am mentally stable without the need of drugs (also, I love their dual guitar attack and sick drumming). Your employees might not have the same result. Please try and convince them to listen to Yanni instead so they can be soothed on a daily basis. Sincerely, A very very concerned citizen
