Not sure when this EP came across my desk but my fault for not reviewing until now.  Sorry dudes. 

First off, I do not like reviewing EPs since they are so short.  Sometimes I cannot get a feel for the band. 

Here goes the old college try.

Envy On The Coast is only 5 songs from the guys from Long Island, NY.  By first and last listen to the EP, the formula is there for success on alt-rock radio.  Sensitive vocals & lyrics with enough attitude for a rocker like me, sometimes.   

For a band that has only been together since January 2005 (this current lineup), they sound pretty tight.  Sometimes heavy enough for rockers and then can go soft with a little piano too.  Catchy tunes and I can see a couple singles off this EP for alt rock radio. 

File under emo rock, alt rock radio, on the songs “Green Eyes Don’t Lie” & “Temper Temper”, I heard an Incubus sound in some parts and I get a good THRICE feel with a little metallized guitar and I like it.  Thanks!
