Heart Of The Machine

We all know New England is full of many rock & metal bands.  Some of them are great (Shadows Fall, Killswitch Engage), some of good (Damone, All That Remains, Unearth) and some not so good (I won’t list those bands).   SUPERKOLLIDER is one of the good ones. 

Readers of our site know I am not a big fan of reviewing an EP.  EP’s are too short to get a real feel of a band for my taste (which is bad, get it, bad taste, like the site, oh well) 

With elements that all of us music reviewers will notice; sounds like Helmet, Prong and bands of that ilk.  Machine like guitars run throughout the EP and I like that. 

It’s not all grooves and guitars.  Heart of The Machine shows a little more emotion than some of those dead pan bands.   

One of my favorite things about SUPERKOLLIDER is that they had one of their songs on an episode on my favorite TV shows THE SHIELD.  Good job!
